LAKE WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL
JAZZ LAB
AN OPTIONAL MASTER CLASS SERIES SPONSORED BY LWHS BAND + JAZZ BOOSTERS
JAZZ LAB
Jazz Lab is a master class series for high school band students, which culminates in a ticketed Jazz Combo Night open to the public. It is a fee-based, optional enrichment class sponsored by LWHS Band + Jazz Boosters. Financial support is available; no student will be turned away because of an inability to pay.
The program blends high-level jazz education with performance opportunities and a focus on combos, supporting student musicianship while raising funds for the LWHS Jazz Band.
Students learn from a variety of guest clinicians who are professional jazz musicians in the Seattle area.
Jazz Lab meets once a week for 9 to 10 weeks from late January through March.
Watch here for the 2027 registration and dates.
